Joe and Dee Carpenter
Officially joined Trinity in 2005
Joe and Dee were going church shopping when they first moved to Bellingham seven
years ago. They attended Trinity first and that is where they stopped shopping.
Joe tells us Trinity is one of the friendliest churches he has ever seen.
Dee tells us Trinity shows love in so many ways, through acceptance, through a
sense of belonging, without pressure to join.
Being new to Bellingham found Dee without the support of friends. She found that
support through the small group home Bible study group at Trinity.
Joe and Dee have never before joined a church as official members. The Bible
study group was a motivating factor to become more active in the life of the
congregation. They were not pushed in. They were drawn in.
