TRINITY’S MISSION
STATEMENT
Our mission as a church and preschool is to serve our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. This we do by sharing the following message:
Our mission is to make every encounter with Trinity an encounter with Christ’s caring love.
PURPOSE
Trinity Lutheran Preschool will provide a Christian environment to meet the child’s spiritual, emotional, mental, social, and physical needs.
The Preschool will also share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the children and their families and nurture their Christian growth.
Our staff shares a Christian attitude and love toward all children.
PHILOSOPHY
God has given the direct responsibility of educating children to parents. He has also commanded the church ” to teach.”
Teachers form a partnership with parents. Together they want to teach children what it means to put their trust in Jesus as their Savior. Jesus is the reason why the school exists.

My name is Lisa Burgess. I am so happy to be Trinity Preschool’s teacher. I will always do my best to ensure a fun safe environment where children will thrive and have a positive hands-on preschool experience. I have lived in Whatcom county, my whole life and I married to a wonderful husband. We have two sons, and two wonderful grandkids. I also have two big newfie puppies they took take up most of my free time but some of my hobbies are reading, hiking and walking with my friends. I have been teaching preschool for 27 years and each year I look forward to getting to know all of your wonderful families.
I’m Amelia Trotter and my husband and I moved to Bellingham in 2011 from Anchorage, AK. We have a daughter and a son named who are both in elementary school. We enjoy spending time as a family camping, looking for beach glass, and getting out of town to explore all the areas around us. I am looking forward to working with your children and getting to know them in the upcoming school year!
